Welcome to Confirm version 9

Pitney Bowes Business Insight is delighted to launch version 9 of our leading asset management software, Confirm, on 5 October.

The enhancements and new modules within Confirm version 9 have been driven by your feedback and input. A pivotal role within the development of the new version has been the focus on improving business processes and public sector delivery improvements thus making you more effective and efficient in your roles.

Join Dominic McNeillis, Confirm Product Marketing Manager, for a series of online seminars over the coming weeks. Each of these sessions will provide you with more detail and knowledge on the key enhancements and modules.

5 October, 10am: Confirm version 9 Overview

This session will give an overview of the new modules and enhancements in version 9.

13 October, 10am: Mobile working

This session will demonstrate how Confirm mobile has changed for version 9. It will feature the new .Net tablet PC software and user Sortable task list, as well as covering existing functionality to demonstrate how Confirm Mobile can help Confirm user increase efficiency. The session will also cover "Jobs in the Field" and "Photo Support".

20 October, 10am: Overarching jobs

This session will demonstrate the new Over-arching jobs functionality. Being added to the Job Precedence module, the demonstration will show large "overarching" works orders in the context of pain/gain contracts and seasonal works orders, featuring Job Precedence, partial payments, retentions and other associated functionality.

27 October, 10am: Street Works and permits

This session will demonstrate how enhancements to the existing Street Works and Permits module have made the software more user-friendly. It will also feature use of the embedded mapping module and show briefly how the London Permits scheme is being implemented.

3 November, 10am: Data Source drill-down and alerts

This session will demonstrate the new Data Source drill down capability and reporting functionality. It will appear in Confirm for any user who has purchased one or more of the Alerts modules, and so examples of each of the alerts modules will be demonstrated in conjunction with this demonstration.

10 November 10am: CRM and other connectors

This session will demonstrate the enhancements that have been made to the CRM connector and contextualise them by showing how the CRM connector (comprising four separate modules) offers pick and choose functionality so that all Confirm users can create and maintain a robust and efficient real-time connection between Confirm and their CRM system.

17 November, 10am: Document Management links

This session will demonstrate the new Document Management API. The demonstration will show, as an example, a link with SharePoint, as well as e2 Vault (another PBBI product and an option if users are looking for a departmental DMS).

24 November, 10am: Mapping

This session will demonstrate our approach to mapping. In order to provide the most efficient services for Citizens, knowing the location of events and assets and communicating this location with all parties in the value chain is mandatory, nowadays. It is fast becoming the way in which we communicate as citizens in many aspects of our daily lives - asset management is no exception.
